Biography
Lyndsey’s curiosity and passion for human development has guided her background in complex human systems across various global contexts. She holds an undergraduate degree in Political Studies from Queen’s University in Kingston, ON and a master’s degree in Communication for Social Change from the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. Before joining The Refinery, Lyndsey worked as a management consultant in KPMG’s “People and Change” group. In that role, she supported a wide range of organizations undergoing transformative change. These efforts included helping to plan and implement stakeholder communication and engagement strategies, business process improvements, and executive alignment programs. Beyond the corporate world, Lyndsey also spent six months in Ghana, West Africa as a Professional Fellow with Engineers Without Borders (Canada). While there, she focused her efforts on helping to build the capacity of leaders at a local organization to test, refine and improve program interventions through one-on-one coaching, strategy co-design, and professional development workshops.
